All Shuck floor & bar staff have minimum three years experience in hospitality and are provided with thorough staff training to ensure the upmost in customer service.

Owners Scott & Anna Budgen have a very 'hands on' approach when it relates to the operation of their restaurant. Whilst Scott involves himself heavily in the multi-award winning wine list, Anna, with her background in hosptality is responsible for various functions including the monthly ladies luncheon, "Shuck on Lunch"

Scotty Gaskin, with his 12 years experience as a chef has brought his many talents to Shuck after spending a considerable time in Melbourne. His innovative cuisine and fine attention to detail has given Scotty an enviable reputation and as such is responsible for the many return visits of our patrons.

Restaurant Managers Sean Lehmann & Trent Erskine have a combined total of 36 years in ‘fine dining’ & cocktail experience. Together they are responsible for the ongoing operations and the maintaining of the high service that Shuck clientele know know to expect.

Suzie & Peter Houston are the newly appointed management of Shuck Bar. The newest lounge bar on the Tedder Avenue strip combines live entertainment with the who’s who of the Gold Coast. Peter & Suzie are related to the success of popular bars such as Sylvesters, Lansdowne Road & numerous popular bars in Brisbane.
